It can be a great discount on a good meal or a movie. The bottom line is that they're very valuable. Some have even gotten successful campaigns running on mobile phone carrier discount cards. Whatever the case, there are always big retailers that are providing help to their communities. Another good way to raise money is through raffle tickets. This is another opportunity for local merchants to gain new customers, which is vital to their existence. Many restaurants, hair salons, nail salons, and the like are usually on board.

Other successful campaigns could include sporting event tickets up for grabs on the raffle tickets. More and more, it's becoming increasingly difficult and expensive for average consumers to get their hands on such tickets, so it could be a successful campaign.
