Would Leon Kennedy Make Use of Kettlebell Weights?

By Rob Sutter

After playing "Resident Evil 4" yesterday, it's dawned on me just how much Leon Kennedy has to deal with. The principal character of the game seems to be burdened - to say the least - not just with a slew of infected zombie-like humans but protecting Ashley, the daughter of the game's president. For the most part, Kennedy does his job well but I think that he could stand to be even sturdier. This is why I advocate the usage of kettlebell weights more than just about anything else.

Being a certified ex-police officer in his own right, Kennedy knows how to look after himself. Like any specialist you may think of, he's a good shot with a gun and he will be able to take the fight to just about any supernatural or infected creature that stands in his way. He's also useful in terms of hand-to-hand combat, being able to change between the two styles of battle in a seamless way. Regardless, I can't help but feel as though he's routinely met with beings stronger than he is.

One of the more notable villains in the game is Jack Krauser, who was once an acquaintance of Kennedy's as well as his partner. However, during the time of the game, it was learned that he faked his own death and he came back far stronger than he ever was before, thanks to the a deal he had made with the game's true leading antagonist, Albert Wesker. Add in the fact that Krauser is able to mutate so that his arm becomes a deadly blade and it's clear that he is very much a challenge.

Kennedy is clearly strong but are there ways for him to expand on the limits which he possesses? Kettlebell weights are one way to do it and I would suggest that this would be taken on more often. After all, people should be challenging themselves and seeing if the idea of capacity can be challenged and built upon. One's form can become more robust and refined, showcasing just how beneficial the efforts of names such as Lorna are in the grand scheme of things.

Kennedy proves to be more of the more robust action heroes seen in gaming but he is still very much human. He's going to discover mutated creatures of likes of which we can only envision in the world that we live in today. The drawback is that Kennedy only has so much in the way of defense, seeing as how manmade weapons are his only means of defending himself against such beings. When up against such odds, he could use all of the strength he can gather.
