Vinyl Coated Foam Pool Float Tips

By Jennie Sandoval

Many people who love to swim have discovered the vinyl coated foam pool float. It is simply the best way to enjoy your pool. Since that this swimming pool accessory is about seventy-inches long, it is ideal for use by anyone, including children and adults.

As the name of the equipment or product suggests, it is constructed of dense but lightweight foam. The material used for construction is then covered with durable, brightly colored vinyl to make it waterproof and long lasting. With its core, this pad is literally unsinkable.

In addition, the foam used is of a closed cell formation, which means that it will never soak up the water, causing it to sink. The equipment is a wonderful accessory for those who cannot swim, as it is very sturdy. It is also ideal for any weight, and therefore can easily be used by a large adult. No matter what, the foam of the equipment ensures its buoyancy.

Inflatable accessories are quite common these days, but they have a tendency to get punctures, and are not always easy to fix. However, even if you accidentally damage this equipment, it will make no difference to its effectiveness. As an added advantage, the vinyl can be cleaned quickly and easily, and is soft to the touch, so there is no worry of getting scratches.

When not in use the equipment will roll up for easy storage. This is a huge improvement over other non-folding floats which require large amounts of space in your garage or the area where this still water is located. Because this pad will roll for easy storage it is a lot more likely to have a lasting life. Other similar equipments or floats which would not fold or roll often got bumped or cracked or compressed because of their size and awkward shape.

The vinyl part of this equipment is the most impressive. It is of such a good quality that it will not harden and break if left in the sun, and its color looks 'as good as new' for many years, regardless of where it is kept. It will also not absorb the heat of the sun and end up being all sticky.

The ultimate use of the equipment is entirely up to the user. It is great for relaxation purposes, as well as for suntanning purposes. Imagine lazing the day away atop a sturdy float, drifting aimlessly as you enjoy a thrilling book.

Those who teach swimming lessons have used the pad very successfully to carry items they will toss into the water to have swimmers dive for them. The swimmers then return the objects to the float. This device serves as a "desk" for the swimming instructor. The vinyl coated foam pool float has also been used as a surface for young swimmers to experience the pool and "dive" from rather than the side of the the area where the still water is located. The equipment is closer to the water's surface making the dive into the water for the small swimmers not nearly as scary. In addition small tots can cling to the sides of the float until they feel confident enough to let go and float on their own in the shallow end of the pool.
